Closed field auditory brainstem response testing system

The mouse auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing system induces and records potential responses in the cerebral cortex by providing sound stimuli of different intensities. The test results are used to determine the condition of hearing loss, typically for hearing screening and threshold assessment. Distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) records the ear canal sounds emitted by the cochlea and reflects the external functions of hair cells.

The Giant Tek closed field ABR and DPOAE systems have dual channels, doubling the testing capacity compared to the TDT system. The sampling rate is 384 kHz and the resolution is 24 bits, which is in a leading position. A high sampling rate is particularly important for recording high-frequency (>30 kHz) DPOAE signals.
